Recruitment at MK
Have fun, earn money, enjoy life
MK is growing quickly so we're constantly on the lookout for brilliant people to come and join us in Leeds and Sheffield.
MK is a great place to work (at least that's what we say publicly).
We wouldn't want you to think we're like The Monkees, but it is fair to say that we believe a team that gets on well together, works well together.
The hours here can be long, but we can promise you challenging work that is stimulating and interesting.
As we've said, the one thing our clients have in common is that they are all passionate about what they do, and so are we.
The 'remuneration package' (i.e. salary and holidays) is competitive and we offer the opportunity to work on meaningful accounts, without having to commute into and out of central London (which can't be bad).
MK has clients across corporate, consumer and B2B sectors, so if you want to work for a national PR agency with regional offices then please send CV's to help@mkthingshappen.co.uk
Sheffield
Sheffield is one of the UK's major cultural exporters: a centre for music, theatre, film and design, but because the city is less self-aggrandizing than its Northern counterparts, this is largely unknown to people who haven't visited it.
Sheffield is one of the most exciting cities in the North. The districts in its South West of enjoys one of the highest standards of living in the UK. Residents have all the benefits of living in one of the UK's biggest cities (and one undergoing a highly successful process of regeneration) with thriving nightlife, and great recreational offer. Sheffield also boasts one of the lowest crime rates in the UK and uniquely is surrounded largely fields and woodland rather than urban sprawl. Two thirds of the city is actually within the boundaries of a National Park so you might be drinking in a bar bang in the centre, but you're just five miles from the Peak District.
Leeds
Leeds is a lively, cosmopolitan city situated in the heart of Yorkshire. As you'd expect with a student population of almost 200,000 entertainment is high on the agenda. The city boasts almost two miles of traffic-free shopping including several stunning Victorian and Edwardian arcades. Leeds also has one of the broadest cultural offers in the country: whether you're a fan of eating out, sport, theater, fine art, live music eating out or clubbing, you'll find the city has plenty to offer.
Leeds is one of the UK's best connected cities: less than an hour from Nottingham, Sheffield and Manchester and just over two hours from central London. Residents are also just a short drive from the Yorkshire Dales, which is one of the UK's most beautiful national parks.
