Rebecca Hawley
Rebecca returned from London to join MK in March 2008 following a successful career in consumer PR for FMCG brands including Cadbury, Trebor Bassett, Procter & Gamble, Unilever, Mars and Nestle.
An expert on the finer things in life thanks to her time at Grayling PR where she promoted fine wine and Champagne, much of her time was spent organizing glamorous events for journalists and running ‘strictly educational’ wine tasting seminars. With that experience, who better, we thought to head up the Sheffield First Partnership account?
It was not all drinking at Grayling, Becky also made space for chocolate and cakes, running corporate campaigns on behalf of Mars and government bodies including The Biscuit, Cake Chocolate and Confectionery Association (where the catering was always excellent) and The Committee of Radio Active Waste (where it was not so good).
A move to WPP’s consumer agency Clarion Communications followed, where she was Account Manager for Walls, Birds Eye, Dove, Sure and Lynx and then Mercieca PR looking after strategy for Cadbury, Trebor Basset and Procter & Gamble.
Rebecca is a champion horse rider (not jockey) and knew Zara Phillips “before she was famous”.
